METALLICA has announced eight additions to its European indoor arena tour. According to a posting on the band’s web site, “We’ll be starting off on February 25 in Nottingham, England an

d will be storming through seven other cities in the UK, including two stops in London at the O2. The guys from MACHINE HEAD and THE SWORD will be there too!”

METALLICA’s UK indoor arena tour is now shaping up as follows:

Feb. 25 – Nottingham, England – Trent FM Arena
Feb. 26 – Manchester, England – MEN Arena
Feb. 28 – Sheffield, England – Sheffield Arena
Mar. 02 – London, England – O2 Arena
Mar. 03 – Newcastle, England – Metro Radio Arena
Mar. 25 – Birmingham, England – LG NEC Arena
Mar. 26 – Glasgow, Scotland – SECC Arena
Mar. 28 – London, England – O2 Arena

Tickets priced £40 (plus fees) go on sale later this week.
