The number of Swedish flags flying at Download paid testament to the huge following IN FLAMES rightly have. They will now return to the UK later in the year with support from GOJIRA, VOLBEAT and SONIC SYNDICATE.

IN FLAMES are considered to be a pioneer of the melodic death metal genre. Jesper Strömblad formed the band to write music that combined the guitar style of IRON MAIDEN with the brutality of death metal, something which Jesper stated he had never heard any band do.
