The Magic Circle Festival is unique, as it is a festival that is organised and put together by a band and it's very own record label. The band in question are the legendary warriors of metal, MANOWAR. Worldwide, opinions are divided over MANOWAR. This is a band who have never conformed to popular ways, and have always had their own ways of doing things.

One Percent Entertainments Group, which organizes the annual UK festival Rock & Blues Custom Show (described as a "three-day festival of motorcycles, rock music and drinking" that regularly attracts some 15,000 people) , has released the following statement regarding this year's 25th anniversary of the event, also known this year as "RBCS 25":

Often dubbed the “Misfit of Scottish Festivals” the Wickerman is once again set to sizzle on the 25th & 26th July. One Percent Entertainments Group are now re-issuing our event premises licence today 28th May 2008 having issued it and temporarily withdrew it from Catton Hall, this time it will be issued for our spiritual home at Coney Grey Showground. Pentrich, Derbyshire.

Veteran German thrashers DESTRUCTION have been confirmed for this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place August 15-17, 2008 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire.
