ales.jpgFrom the city of West Covina, in California hail the hardcore metal band A Love Ends Suicide. Their style is sure to set to win over many fans with their awesome riffs, rough vocals, and just the heart pounding energy they seem to produce.

Album opener Cold Summer gets straight into the pace of things with some fast heavy riffs, growling vocals and awesome drumming. A great choice for an opening track and the album surely will packed ful of the same brilliant examples to form some awesome tracks. Next up is the title track of the album, In The Disaster delivers a heavy brute force attack on the ears which is pleasantly accepted without any questions. Some clean backing vocals are added to this which work well in and between the rough vocals which are perfect for this style of music and at least the vocals gel with the formation of the songs so far which is a very good sign for the tracks to come.

Only two songs in and it seems the production on this album is superb. The guitars are clear and every riff can be heard perfectly whilst the drums are clearly audible and the vocals are just right as sometimes it can be said that the vocals either overpower orĀ  aren’t audible clearly over the music itself.

Anyway back to the tracks and here comes Of Day Dream And Fantasy which is a very well constructed song where the clean vocals take over in the different parts of the song. It works well and is a very good track overall. Lets Spark To Fire follows and is fuelled full of energy although it probably has the most clean vocals in it, it is still worth your attention as a very good hardcore track.

The Black Art is next which is more of the same and at the longest track on the album, it contains a really good solo which is highly appreciated. This is followed by the shortest track on the album entitled Romance Creates Killers. This is a short heart pounding and guitar pummeling piece of art which makes you feel like moshing with yourself or whoevers around at the time.

Amadeus and Another Revolution follow up which both contain some cracking guitar work within them, along with the usual growling vocals and screams and are fuelled full of pure hardcore metal energy! The latter of the two is better and feels more energetic though.

Coming to the end of a neck breaking album and possibly a bad head from headbanging so much you started to bang the floor, comes the track Dying To Be Beautiful, which intertwines and combines clean with rough vocals at the same time and it does work well in this case. The guitars and riffs are still excellent at this latter stage of the album and the drums and bass complete a track which is extremely good and probably should merit a higher place up the album than in the position of track nine.

Penultimate track Skate Junction continues the superb tracks in these latter stages. It is full of soaring riffs and heaviness which have been so accustomed to this album as well as the combination of vocals again which works well again. The vocals never seem to be out of place with the music on this album whether they are rough or clean.

And so we come to the final track of the album entitled Heroes of Faith. This album finishes as it started with some cracking riffs, awesome growling screams and superb guitar work as well as a solo to finish it. The album is solid throughout and is a brilliant set of tracks together forming an awesome album. The bands style is in between Trivium and Hatebreed for me so if you like anything like those bands or similar, I’m sure you will love A Love Ends Suicide.
